LIVEPLUSTV is a Canadian broadcast technology company. We build the cloud playout that puts TV channels on air and the platform operators use to run them, priced flat and sold self-serve.

What we build, and why

LIVEPLUSTV has been operating since 2016, based in Toronto, Canada. We came up running live television for real audiences, mostly diaspora communities whose channels never sleep, and that decade set the defaults. A channel here runs around the clock. Its audience is scattered across time zones. And its running order changes at the worst possible moment, so LIVEPLUSTV is built to take that in stride.

The product is the whole broadcast chain, run in the cloud: playout with ad breaks placed to the exact frame (SCTE-35) and on-screen graphics, live feeds from your encoder over RTMP, SRT and RIST, server-side ad insertion, a branded OTT platform for on-demand services, analytics that work with any player, and delivery from 300+ cities on every plan. It is sold like software: published flat prices, no contracts, live in minutes.

Flat, published, boring

Every price is on the site, per channel or per service, with playout and delivery included. No meters, no quote calls, no invoice that grows because your audience did. We think a bill you can predict is a feature of the product.

Revenue

Your ads, your money

Bring your own ad demand and keep 100% of your ad revenue; we charge a flat rate for serving, only when an ad verifiably plays. You can hand monetization to our ad team instead, but nothing about the product requires it.

Engineering

Broadcast-grade, in-house

We build our own playout software: ad breaks placed to the exact frame (SCTE-35), on-screen graphics, SRT and RIST feeds, codecs up to AV1, backup channels and as-run logs of what aired. Because we built it, we can price it flat.
