LIVEPLUSTV is a Canadian broadcast technology company. We build the engine that puts TV channels on air in the cloud and the platform that lets operators run them, priced flat, sold self-serve.

What we build, and why

LIVEPLUSTV has been operating since 2016, based in Toronto, Canada. We came up running live television for real audiences, mostly diaspora communities whose channels never sleep, and the platform is shaped by that decade: channels here are assumed to be on air 24/7, delivery is assumed to be worldwide, and the schedule is assumed to change at the worst possible moment.

The product is the whole broadcast chain, run in the cloud: playout with frame-accurate SCTE-35 and burned-in graphics, live contribution over RTMP, SRT and RIST, server-side ad insertion, a branded OTT platform for on-demand services, edge-measured analytics, and delivery from 330+ cities on every plan. It is sold like software, not like a broadcast vendor relationship: published flat prices, no contracts, live the same day.

Every price is on the site, per channel or per service, with runtime and delivery included. No meters, no quote calls, no invoice that grows because your audience did. We think a bill you can predict is a feature of the product.

Your ads, your money

Bring your own ad demand and keep 100% of your ad revenue; we charge a flat rate for serving, only when an ad verifiably plays. Monetization that depends on us is offered, never required.

Engineering

Broadcast-grade, in-house

We build and run our own playout engine: frame-accurate SCTE-35, burned-in graphics, SRT and RIST transport, codecs up to AV1, backup channels, as-run logs. The stack is ours, which is why we can price it flat.
